THERE IS THIS GUY...

After all this jetlagging and getting back on track with my old-new homecountry and lifestyle, I feel like I'm starting to be me again, if you know what I mean! ...Which has meant lots of peoplewatching lately, and talking about boys with my besties! There are few really cute ones in my new grade, but seeing those 2 cuties I used to have crush on, is still the highlight of my day. It's funny. I've been away for a year and I haven't been talking with either one of these guys, but they seem to acknowledge me already... Those only-in-the-movies-long-looks and oh-trying-too-hard-jokes are bringing some excitement to my life! We'll see, what's going to happen... maybe nothing. Keep your fingers crossed!

CHOCOLATE & LATE NIGHT STUDYING

My last week has been including lots of chocolate, movies, watching Revenge, and some sports and studying. New friends, old friends, little boy problems. I'm studying psychology but the teacher expects us to be the masters of biology and health education, too. My adviser accidentally has signed me up for 2 classes that are held in same time (I would need Hermione's timeturner to be everywhere in the same time!)  I feel like I need some me-time, skype date with my friend, just playing the piano, drawing a little.. 6 hours of sleep and a full day of school tomorrow... Goodnight, world!

Namaste

Wait, isn't Summer supposed to be relaxing? As the end of August comes closer and closer, I can feel the stress of senior year building and building. I thought I had a good idea of what to expect, but I had no idea how quickly it all came! There is so much pressure to leave a positive lasting image. For me, this means sustaining great grades, completing cross country and track season with personal record times, and possibly participating in homecoming court and the school scholarship pageant. Apart from the pressures I put on myself, there are also the pressures every senior has: scholarships and college applications. With all of this going on, there has to be some way to wind down. I like to call it yoga. I have found yoga so therapeutical. The first four times I did it, I wasn't exactly in love. Recently, though, it has saved my life. I had a stress fracture along with shin splints, and once the stress fracture healed, I had some remaining pain in my shin. This was just more stress in my life. Doing yoga gave me a peace of mind. Although its not everyone's cup of tea, it was definitely mine. Now, I set aside around an hour about five days a week for some yoga time, and I feel more at peace than ever before. I can finally enjoy what Summer is all about.

HARRY, YOU ARE A WIZARD

...What I was trying to say, is that I went to buy my school books for the next year! Psychology & French... I'm ready for that (but not for the other classes.. blah)! I'm starting my school this following Monday, and I'm waay to excited, I have to admit. I've been back in Europe just for 2 weeks, and I really need something to do! I miss the States a lot, the small talk culture and all my friends there, but that's why I'm anxious to start school; meet new people; get back on my daily basics. I was planning to start a diet and start my running practices, because I sign up for a 10K race... in September. Well, it's good to have some challenges in life (I've never ran more than 5K... Yaaiks). I was supposed to start my practices this Monday, but... oh well, I have tons of bad excuses. So new plan is... start my diet this Thursday! I'll try my best and keep you updated!

Raindrops on Roses

In light of Mary Poppin's 50th Anniversary on August 26, I thought it fitting to write a post about a few of my favorite things at the moment!

Book: My Sister's Keeper -- I just finished this book, and it was one of those novels you think about even when you aren't reading it. This is such a well-written story that I felt such a connection with.

Band: Maroon 5 -- Adam Levine.

College: University of Michigan -- I bleed maize and blue, but I am also becoming a huge fan of Dartmouth because I would love to run on their cross country/track teams.

Bucket List Item: Complete an Iron Man -- I am obsessed with working out, and it would be a dream to know I am able to compete in one of the hardest athletic competitions.

Music Streamer: Spotify -- Pandora cannot compete. Spotify is a great way to find new music!

Season: Fall -- This was a really hard one because I really love each season, but the nice chill in the air and the colors of the trees put fall on top.

Website: www.weheartit.com and www.msn.com -- If I'm looking for a good quote or girly things, weheartit is my go to, and I love msn for breaking news and keeping up with world matters.

Clothing Store: Forever 21 -- Great prices and just my style.

Car: Jeep -- You can't go wrong with a Jeep, you just can't. Viper was a close second, though.

City: Boston -- I haven't traveled nearly as much as I hope to, but so far I love the history of this city.

Form of Relaxation: Yoga -- I used to hate yoga, mostly because I was trying to stretch further than my body was meant to go at the time. Yoga has been my lifesaver, helping me through many injuries. #Namaste

Dancer on This Season of SYTYCD: CASEY -- Great dancer, contagious smile, and seems to have an amazing personality.

Food: Ice Cream -- There is no question here! I think about ice cream 24/7; I love it!! One of the best flavors is Chocolate Covered Potato Chip.

Holiday: Christmas -- As I have gotten older, the presents have taken more of a backseat. I really love how much the family comes together. I am also in love with the cheesy Hallmark Christmas movies, the white snow that covers everything, the holiday tunes, and, of course, the FOOD!!

I am excited to publish my first blog post, and I hope it gives you a little bit more of an idea of who I am and what I'm about! Enjoy the blog, and Happy 50th Anniversary to Mary Poppins.

HELLO THERE!

Welcome to our brand new blog! We have no idea how did you find your way here, but we are glad you did... now register as a follower so you can keep up with our posts! So, this blog will be written by Blair and Coco (more information about us you can find from the page called 'about us' ), two good friends living on different continents right now. We are living in totally different time zones, so we can promise that you'll get new posts 24/7. Or something like that. We can also promise, that there will be typos and weird word choices, but that's simply because just one of us is a native English speaker. The other one is just trying her best. Please, enjoy your time with our pointless and not-so-pointless posts! Comments are always welcome, but we prefer nice, friendly comments!
